- Quantity Surveyor
- Our Quantity Surveyors have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting, industry-leading projects across all sectors, from retail and hotels to affordable housing and the public sector. Wherever you join us, you'll be part of a team charged with delivering our projects on time and to budget, taking particular responsibility for cost planning and control. Your role may involve negotiating directly with clients and providing quality information to senior managers, as well as identifying opportunities for development in terms of quality and profitability. In time, you can look forward to taking a lead role in projects.
- Building Surveyor
- Working with a variety of blue-chip clients, our Building Surveyors are integral to our success - winning work and leading on the delivery of a wide range of commercial building surveying services. On a day-to-day level, you'll help to provide a range of services such as party wall awards, condition surveys, defect diagnosis, dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) surveys, feasibility studies and option appraisals. In so doing, not only will you be working closely with consultants, the contracts team, project managers and contractors, but also with other members of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient financial control.
- Project Manager
- Our Project Managers are responsible for developing and implementing plans for projects. These range from new builds to refurbishment projects, many of which have a value running into seven figures. A project management role is all about managing deliverables including cost, quality, client output and design. As your career evolves, you can expect to lead a team in delivering client project requirements from inception to completion, as well as maintaining best practice PM systems and controls.
- Management Consultant
- We aim to give our Management Consultants exposure to a diverse range of clients and projects - in both the private and public sectors - as soon as possible. From the moment you join, you'll have specific deliverables and responsibilities covering both internal work and a client-facing role. You'll be involved in supporting our clients' decision-making at strategic, programme and project levels, as well as helping to market our products and create sales materials to grow the business.
- Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Consultant
- Safety Health & Environment is one of our newer core services, but we have serious ambitions to become one of the largest SHE consultancies in the industry. This means you'll be joining an energetic team, helping to deliver excellence and value to our clients through an innovative range of SHE products. You could be working on our Environmental Management System, helping to reduce our environmental impacts and those generated by our client projects, or getting involved in other areas such as fire consultancy, health & safety, corporate social responsibility, risk mitigation or asbestos management.
- Facilities Management Engineer / M&E Engineer
- Our Managing Agent & Building Consultancy team are responsible for the management of several hundred thousand square meters of property in the UK alone. Our services cover the entire range of functions from strategic FM reviews to maintenance management and the delivery of projects. As a graduate, you could be involved in anything from the preparation of condition surveys and asset registers to the specification, procurement and management of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts, specification and management of asset replacement projects. Conducting feasibility studies, technical audits or defects analysis might also be part of your role. The nature of the role requires direct contact with clients and building users as well as ECHarris' multidisciplinary team.
- Asset Management Engineer
- As an Asset Management Engineer within our Industrial Optimisation team, you'll work on a range of client projects, gaining the breadth and depth of experience to help you progress towards Chartered status of a relevant Engineering institute. Projects range from maintenance auditing and strategic planning to the implementation of preventative maintenance regimes, condition monitoring implementation and reliability studies - and the support you provide will be critical to their delivery.
