The student experience

We're keen to build early relationships with students who have the potential to be our future leaders. This is why we offer a range of experiences offering exposure to big projects:

Year Out

A Year Out at EC Harris (in the third year of your sandwich degree) will give you the chance to be involved in real projects, start working towards your APC, attend in-house training sessions, and have a counsellor and supervisor to guide you. Depending on your performance, we might be able to sponsor your final year at university and offer you a graduate position once you finish your degree.

Summer Placement

Spending 6-12 weeks with us over the summer is a great way to pick up hands-on experience. You'll gain broad knowledge and an understanding of your future career prospects, as well as having a great time with the team. If it all goes well, there is the opportunity for either a future placement or final year sponsorship and a graduate job offer.

Day Release

We can also offer the opportunity to join us prior to, or while undertaking a degree. Our sponsorship will allow you to develop your career, earn money and complete qualifications all at the same time. Studying via day release is usually on a course accredited by the RICS to enable you to work towards your APC.
